Yes, it's been a while since I've done a TILT and this really doesn't count as one, I don't think. It's mainly just me rambling about things I like to cheer me up because today has been very weird indeed.

It's what you're supposed to do, as a writer, but I'm a coward and facing my fears is hard. Engaging with my fears to create a good story is hard for me. The Doctor Who Experience is fucking awesome.

Write-up here. What the write-up doesn't say, however, is how much I was dying when I walked onto the TARDIS set they had for the experience part. New post up at PP....which isn't actually Pandora's Ponderings anymore. I changed the title to something more relevant to my travels. I wanted to call it Walking in London from that Concrete Blonde song (such a good song!), but figured no one would understand and London Calling is way too cliche. When I was little, I got my first copy of The Polar Express, by Chris van Allsburg. The original copy was signed with a personalized note, as is done with everyone in my family; a certain family member gives a book to a child with a sweet little note with a "don't forget this as you grow older" vibe.
